Job Description
- Manage all aspects of hotel reservations, including phone and written inquiries, ensuring accurate record-keeping and inventory control.
- Maximise occupancy and revenue through yield management, up-selling techniques, and cross-selling of hotel outlets.
- Handle VIP and press arrivals, coordinating with other departments to accommodate special requests.
- Oversee billing processes, including deposits and credit approvals, in line with Accounts' guidelines.
- Maintain guest satisfaction by providing personalised service, utilising guest history files, and addressing complaints promptly.
- Collaborate with the sales team, passing on leads and managing luxury consortia relationships.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports, and maintain in-house reservation systems.
- Continuously develop and improve reservation processes, updating templates as necessary.
- Assist with additional tasks as determined by the Head of Revenue and Marketing.
