Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Assistant of the Director of Food & Beverage to join our team in the beautiful Playa del Carmen, Mexico. In this role, you will provide crucial support to the Director of Food & Beverage, ensuring smooth operations across our food and beverage outlets.
- Assist the Director of Food & Beverage in overseeing daily operations of restaurants, bars, and banquet facilities
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling, inventory management, and report generation
- Support the development and implementation of new food and beverage concepts
- Assist in menu planning and pricing strategies
- Monitor and maintain quality standards across all food and beverage outlets
- Participate in staff training and development initiatives
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Assist in budgeting and cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all food service areas
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in food and beverage management or related field
- Experience in luxury hospitality settings is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Customer service orientation with a passion for hospitality
- Understanding of food and beverage industry trends
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service
