Job Description
- Craft and serve premium cocktails, wines, and beverages with creativity and precision.
- Deliver exceptional, friendly service to guests, ensuring every poolside experience reflects the hotel’s luxury standards.
- Prepare and present beverages according to brand standards, maintaining consistency in quality and presentation.
- Liaise with the Kitchen on special requests.
- Demonstrate the “Passion for Excellence” through serving our guests with flair and professionalism, ensuring that their requests are quickly and efficiently achieved.
- Ensure all guests are provided with personalised service and that the “Essence of Pleasure” is achieved.
- Embody the art of French hospitality through a “can do” attitude.
- Engage guests with genuine hospitality — offering recommendations, upselling beverages, and ensuring all needs are anticipated and met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar, pool area, and service stations in line with hygiene and safety requirements.
- Ensure all beverage stock levels are maintained, accurately recorded, and replenished as needed.
- Process guest orders and payments efficiently and accurately through the POS system.
- Support bar setup, pack-down, and daily operational needs, including opening and closing duties.
- Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general WHS practises.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a luxury hotel, resort, or premium poolside venue.
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, mocktails, wines, and premium spirits.
- Exceptional guest service and communication skills, with a warm and engaging personality.
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
- Impeccable personal presentation and a passion for luxury hospitality.
- A team player who takes initiative and maintains professionalism under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as part of a rotating roster.
