Job Description
Assist chefs in daily food preparation and cooking tasks.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.
Support plating, garnishing, and presentation of dishes as instructed.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Help with receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
Measure, weigh, and prepare ingredients according to recipes.
Learn and apply basic culinary techniques under supervision.
Assist in minimizing food waste and ensuring proper storage practices.
Work collaboratively with kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
Participate in training sessions and complete tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing studies in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field
Strong interest in Food & Beverage operations and guest service
Positive attitude, well-groomed appearance, and team spirit
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations or previous practical training is an advantage
