Job Description
We are looking for a passionate talent with former General Manager experience in hospitality, to lead the operations of a managed 3-star hotel under the ibis brand. This vibrant and modern economy hotel, fully refurbished in 2024, is located in the heart of Budapest, offering 126 rooms - suitable for all guests, whether on a family holiday or on business trip.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Successful management of a managed 3-star economy hotel, operated under ibis brand via Hotel Management Agreement.
- Strengthen the hotel’s market position, search and identify new business opportunities; build up long-term business relationships.
- Plan and manage the operations of the hotel to achieve customer (guests, talents, corporate, owner) satisfaction and quality service while meeting / exceeding financial goals.
- Be the heart of the hotel and lead by example; create a positive, team-oriented working environment.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience in Hotel General Manager position
- Strong operational background
- Outstanding sales acumen, commercial mindset
- Fluency in English language
- Hungarian language knowledge is an advantage
- Ability to manage relationship with owner and manager in the frame of Hotel Management Agreement
- Leadership, autonomy
- Service and quality minded character
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and team management skills
- Ability to create positive, effective and sustainable working relationships at all levels
