Job Description
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Front Office Supervisor to join our team in Novotel Cairo El Borg Hotel Cairo, Egypt. As the Front Office Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service in our hotel's front office operations.
- Manage and supervise front office staff, including receptionists to ensure optimal guest satisfaction
- Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Monitor and maintain the front desk area, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times
- Conduct regular shift briefings to communicate hotel activities and operational requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Train and mentor front office staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and industry standards
- Analyze front office performance metrics and implement improvements as needed
- Assist in developing and maintaining positive relationships with key clients and partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in front office operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Proficiency in hotel management software and property management systems
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
- Experience in cash handling and financial reporting
- Proficiency in a second language is a plus
