Job Description
Greet all guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude upon arrival and departure
Escort guests to their rooms, providing essential information about room features and hotel facilities
Handle luggage during check-in and check-out, ensuring safe and timely delivery to/from guest rooms
Manage luggage storage for early arrivals and late departures, including accurate tagging and record-keeping
Keep the lobby area neat, orderly, and welcoming at all times; report maintenance or cleanliness issues to relevant departments
Distribute packages, faxes, newspapers, and messages to guest rooms promptly
Guide and support valet staff; assist in training and orientation of new team members
Assist with group arrivals/departures, coordinating luggage handling and room key preparation
Respond promptly to guest requests, including wake-up calls, room changes, transportation needs, or information about the local area
Ensure knowledge of all hotel services, promotions, events, and facilities
Maintain up-to-date awareness of fire and emergency procedures and follow them precisely when necessary
Assist with tasks such as flag changing, flyer posting, photocopying, message handling, and delivery of office documents
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role in a hotel or hospitality environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-oriented mindset
Proficient in basic English; additional languages are a plus
Strong knowledge of the local area, including transport, restaurants, and attractions
Physically fit and able to lift and carry luggage safely and efficiently
Well-groomed, professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards
Flexible and available to work on shifts, weekends, and holidays
Team player with a proactive, solution-focused attitude
