Job Description

  • Identify and prospect potential clients through networking, cold calling, and other outreach methods.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Conduct site visits and presentations to showcase the venue's capabilities and offerings.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize profitability.
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional services and packages to increase revenue.
  • Collaborate with the event planning team to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee event logistics, including room setups, catering, and audiovisual equipment.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Seek client feedback and testimonials to enhance future sales efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, contracts, and client information.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the events industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • A passion for the events industry and a keen eye for detail
