Job Description
- Embrace Manaakitanga: Warmly welcome guests, assist with inquiries, and handle restaurant bookings to ensure a memorable experience
- Enhance the Dining Experience: Use your in-depth menu knowledge to guide guests, offering personalized recommendations and maximizing sales through suggestive selling
- Champion Food Safety: Be vigilant about allergies and dietary needs, ensuring every guest's safety and satisfaction within our Food Safety Program
- Deliver Excellence: Promptly serve dishes with precision, maintaining perfect temperature and presentation
- Radiate Optimism and Charisma: Approach guests with confidence and a positive attitude, making each interaction enjoyable and engaging
Qualifications
You will have:
- Previous experience in a medium to large restaurant; 5-star hotel experience is an advantage
- Barista skills, including the ability to make quality coffee and handle barista tasks with precision and efficiency
- Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits, with the ability to make thoughtful recommendations to guests
- At least 3+ years of customer service experience
- An engaging personality, making every guest feel special, with a dependable, can-do attitude that enhances team cohesion
- A thorough understanding of restaurant service standards and protocols
