Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales & Marketing to join our team in South Kuta, Indonesia. This pivotal role will be responsible for maximizing property revenues while maintaining excellent customer service for both internal and external clients. The ideal candidate will lead our sales and marketing efforts, develop innovative strategies, and drive business growth in this vibrant market.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue goals for rooms, banquet, and catering departments
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed targets
- Analyze market trends, demand segments, and competition to optimize pricing and inventory management
- Create and implement integrated marketing plans, including digital marketing, social media, and promotional events
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and corporate clients
- Oversee the development of annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with other department heads
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics, preparing regular reports on performance and market insights
- Ensure alignment of sales and marketing expenses with the annual business plan and hotel profitability
- Actively participate in community organizations and industry events to enhance the property's visibility and reputation
- Collaborate closely with all hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience and maximize cross-selling opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven track record of 7+ years in hotel sales and marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and increase market share in competitive environments
- Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns
- Excellent leadership and team management experience, with a focus on mentoring and developing talent
- In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, including food and beverage operations and banquet/catering services
- Proficiency in analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to inform decision-making
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to diverse audiences
- Experience in budget management and financial forecasting
- Expertise in digital marketing strategies, including social media and content marketing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with hotel management software and CRM systems
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a track record of securing and retaining key accounts
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required
- Willingness to travel as needed for business development and industry events
- Adaptability to work in a multicultural environment and knowledge of the Indonesian market is highly desirable
