As a Laundry Attendant you are responsible for the cleanliness of Linen and assistance of Laundry operations as instructed by Supervisors while adhering to Hotel policies and procedures.

What you will be doing: 

• Familiar with the specific guidelines and instructions given by the Floor or Assistant Laundry Manager (depending on the hotel) and applies them
• Knowledge and correct handling of the different types of linen
• Checks that equipment is in good working order, informing the Floor or Head Housekeeper (depending on the hotel) of any anomalies
• Ensures that guest documentation is complete and up-to-date
• Applies the procedure for handling lost property
• Ensure proper use of equipment and chemicals
• Responsible for the "master key"
• Handle guest items with utmost care, to avoid damages, shrinkage, lost buttons, etc
• Carry out other tasks as directed by your supervisors
• Familiar with the specific guidelines and instructions given by the Floor or Assistant Laundry Manager (depending on the hotel) and applies them

• Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience in hotel industry is preferred.
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
• Attention to details and guest oriented.
• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting

Visa requirements:

Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Dubai. Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair will cover visa costs and flights for selected candidates from place of origin.
