• Reporting to the Executive Chef and Senior Sous Chef and you will be responsible to help run the pass during service and preparation 
• Monitor and maintain buffet presentation as well as maintain Food control Plans in a Kitchen
• Management of a large kitchen brigade across two hotels
• Alongside the Senior Sous chef deliver training and development of the team

• 2+ years of kitchen leadership experience, preferably within a hotel environment
• A relevant qualification
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team
• Confidence and ability to oversee the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef 
• Understanding of Health and Safety, and Food Control Plans
• Experience in banqueting, in addition to your A La Carte expertise
•  Flexibility to work varied shift patterns nights/days/weekends and Public Holidays
• New Zealand Resident or Citizen
