Job Description
The Financial Controller will handle high-level accounting, financial reporting, managerial accounting, and oversee the financial controls of the company. She/He will manage and supervise all aspects of accounting from payroll to tax compliance, assist with financial planning, as well as the development of finance policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
▪ Develop financial policies and procedural manuals
▪ Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results
▪ Facilitate the budget planning process and controls, as well as periodic review of annual budget in line with actual performance
▪ Manage credit control and financial risk management
▪ Oversee treasury management
▪ Allocate financial resources, project and manage cash flows, and advise on the optimal use of funds
▪ Conduct profit and cost analyses
▪ Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information
▪ Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with relevant policies, laws and regulations
▪ Recommend cost-optimizing solutions
▪ Ensure that all settlements relating to receivables are duly substantiated and authorized
▪ Prepare and present financial and statistical models, forecast and outlooks
▪ Manage the preparation of the company's statutory and management
accounts
▪ Assist the GM in overseeing the company’s financial operations
Qualifications
Requirements:

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
▪ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from a recognized university/polytechnic.
▪ Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in a senior finance or accounting position or 2 years of experience in similar capacity.
▪ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will be an added advantage.
▪ Fully conversant in accounting principles and financial regulation standards.
