Job Description

  • Manage the overall credit and receivable collection functions of the hotel in the most efficient manner in order
  • to minimize the nonpayment of accounts and potential bad debts.
  • Supervise Income Auditor and General Cashier
  • Manage the Fixed Assets Register and actual fixed assets inventory.
  • To ensure that the hotel credit policy and procedure is adhered to in all departments.
  • Process credit applications.
  • Ensure all invoices / statements are issued on a timely basis.
  • Monitor the prompt follow-up of all overdue accounts and minimize the recovery delay.
  • Conduct credit meetings monthly.
  • Ensure PX and PM accounts are checked on daily basis and transferred to city ledger.
  • Review the Advance Deposit ledger to ensure all the balances are either current or future date.
  • Ensure guest refunds are processed in a timely manner as per the hotel policy, with all supporting paperwork
  • and required authorizations.
  • To be ready and responsible when assigned to perform any other duties as designated by higher management.

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing accounts recelvable collection.
  • Hotel experience preferred.
  • Knowledge equivalent to Level 2 of the Bookkeeping certification is desirable
  • Basic level English proficiency
  • Proficiency in MS Window applications (especially Utilization of Excel formula functions) and or relevant
  • computer applications.
  • Experience in staff management and training is preferred.
  • Interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
