Job Description

Job title: Transport Administrator

Location: St Andrews, Fife

Contract: Permanent, Full-time 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a brand new role, duties would be as follows: 

  • Dealing with all guest requirements for revenue generating transportation
  • Provide a centralized point of contact within the hotel for all departments transport requirements.
  •  Liaise with Concierge and our helicopter providers regarding helicopter arrival/departures.
  • Assist the Concierge team when necessary, with the smooth operations of guest/staff shuttle service.
  • Create and maintain an improved record keeping system.
  • Ensure all transportation costs are charged to the appropriate accounts.
  • Liaise with Finance Department to ensure invoices are reconciled before payment.
  •  Responsible for cleanliness and upkeep for all hotel vehicles, as an appropriate advertisement for a five-star hotel.
  •  Ensure all vehicles are maintained and serviced as necessary and appropriate records are kept.
  • Operate defect and accident reporting system of all vehicles.
  • Promote and sell our internal transportation in order to keep our operating costs to a minimum.
  • To acquire appropriate licences for providing guests with a full internal range of transport services. (Public Service Vehicle License).
  • To ensure all drivers of company or guest vehicles for valet service, are appropriately licensed.

Qualifications

  • Eligible to work in the UK 
  • Experience in a similar role would be beneficial 
  • Experience working in a Luxry hotel
