Job Description

As the Multi-Hotel Reservations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the reservations operations for the following hotels:

  • Novotel Melbourne South Wharf
  • Ibis Melbourne Glen Waverley

You will be responsible for managing a team of reservation specialists, optimizing occupancy rates, and ensuring a seamless booking process for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel reservations management, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead and inspire Reservations team to achieve performance targets and provide excellence  customer service
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximise room occupancy
  • Oversee the Opera reservation system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Foster a customer centric culture, ensuring that the team provide friendly, efficient and personalise service to guests
  • Generate and analyse reservation reports to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Conduct training sessions for the team to enhance their skills and keep them informed about latest industry trends and best practice

Qualifications

  • Excellent competency of Opera and Opera Cloud PMS
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a reservations/sales leadership role
  • Hotel industry experience is preferred but not essential
  • Strong computer and systems skills preferably in Opera
  • Eligible to work full time in Australia
