Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Food & Beverage leader to manage The Stampton Restaurant and Conference & Events within Novotel Preston's fast paced operations.
As our next Restaurant & Conference Operations Manager, you will:
- Engage, motivate and develop your diverse team and create a positive workplace culture
- Manage all conference and events operations, ensuring client needs are exceptionally met
- Liaise directly with Sales & Marketing team to ensure the team are well prepared for upcoming events
- Manage all operational requirements of the Restaurant and Bar
- Have a flexible approach to adapting to guest requests, and have the necessary skill to actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by customers.
- Complete all administrative and planning elements for the department such as, rostering, reporting, packages and promotions to drive revenue and increase exposure as well as stocktake and ordering.
- Experienced with local marketing knowledge in the restaurant industry an advantage.
- Have an innovative mindset
Qualifications
- The possession of a valid RSA
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Food & Beverage Supervisor/Duty Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in a similar business
- Have a strong focus on training and developing team members
- Sound operational experience of corporate conferencing and events
- A strong communicator with well-developed stakeholder management, internal and external
- Someone who is exceptionally organised, with the ability to prioritise in order to meet allocated timelines and budgets
- The ability to work a flexible roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Have full Australian Work Rights
