Job Description

Are you passionate about creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for guests? Do you have an eye for detail and enjoy maintaining a pristine environment? Movenpick Hotel Wellington is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Housekeeping team as Housekeeping Attendants.

Movenpick Hotel Wellington is a luxury hotel known for its exceptional guest service, elegant accommodations, and exquisite dining experiences. Located in the heart of Wellington, our hotel combines modern amenities with a touch of sophistication to provide an unforgettable stay for our guests.

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean, organized, and inviting environment for our guests. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Room Preparation and Cleaning:

    • Clean and prepare guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards and guest requirements.
    • Change linens, make beds, replenish amenities, and arrange furniture as needed.
  • Cleaning Public Areas:

    • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in common areas such as lobbies, corridors, and elevators.
    • Clean and disinfect public restrooms and other designated areas.
  • Linen and Inventory Management:

    • Monitor and replenish linens, towels, and other supplies in guest rooms and public areas.
    • Report any maintenance issues or items in need of replacement to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:

    • Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of all assigned areas.
    • Communicate effectively with the Housekeeping team and other hotel departments to uphold a high standard of service.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for cleanliness and organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy items.
