About the Role

We're looking for an Accountant to keep our daily financial operations running smoothly. In this role, you will handle daily bookkeeping, manage vendor and hotel payments, coordinate payroll with our partners, and make sure we stay compliant with local taxes and audits.

What you'll do:

  • Manage Payments: Process and pay hotel invoices, coordinate vendor contracts, and ensure payments are sent out accurately and on time.
  • Support Payroll & Taxes: Coordinate monthly payroll and employee taxes with our payroll partner (Deel), and handle monthly/yearly tax filings (VAT, CIT, WHT, PIT).
  • Handle Daily Accounting: Post journal entries, issue monthly VAT invoices (around 1000/month), and perform daily Bank & Revenue reconciliations and refunds.
  • Coordinate Audits & Compliance: Manage social security matters and serve as the main point of contact and manage internal and external audits.
  • Liaise with Partners: Coordinate directly with banks, legal teams, auditors, tax consultants, and internal departments (like HR/P&C and Finance) to keep operations running smoothly.

What you'll bring:

  • Tax & Accounting Knowledge: A strong understanding of general bookkeeping, reconciliations, and local tax rules.
  • Tool Savvy: Comfort using accounting software and payroll systems
  • Sharp Eye for Detail: Great organization skills - you rarely miss a detail and love keeping files and numbers neat.
  • Great Communication: Ability to work well with everyone, from local tax authorities and banks to our internal management team.
  • Flexibility: A helpful team player who is happy to jump in on ad hoc finance projects when needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in accounting, tax compliance, and payroll support (experience in the Big 4 or the hotel or hospitality industry is a plus).

Why You'll Love Us

  • Hands-on role with real day-to-day impact across a global hospitality brand
  • Supportive, results-driven team environment
  • Hybrid working with 2 days WFH and 3 days in the office - adjust as needed
  • Staff discounts at our hotels worldwide
