Job Description
* This position can be based in Munich or London*
The Vice President Internal & Partner Communications’ main mission is to lead and implement the communication strategy for our owners and talents. The role will lead on all messaging towards internal and hotel teams as well as owner audiences.
The position is responsible to ensure consistency across all formats in order to foster trust and acceptance in the regional business decisions and roadmap.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Strategy & Planning: Develop a suitable strategy to communicate towards the regional Corporate Offices, Hotel Teams and Owners
- Key Messaging: Lead/adapt suitable key messaging on the regional business priorities and strategies
- Change Communications: Pro-actively drive the change communications within the region to drive employee engagement
- Event Management: Organize (bi-)annual gatherings, define suitable logistics and content
- Leadership Positioning: Develop and implement suitable formats to support the dialogue between senior leadership and teams across all hierarchies
- Centralization and alignment: Coordinate and oversee all communications from the different departments for a streamlined of Accor, the brands and the regions across our talents, hotel and owners’ communities
- Lead the Internal and Partner Communications’ Team within Europe & North Africa region
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Economics or related areas
- 10+ years’ experience in Communications roles, in-house or agencies
- Demonstrated skill and comfort in proactively building relationships with employees and senior leadership
- Creativity and ability to translate strategic thinking into action plans and output
- Ability to identify and create core messages in line with the company strategy
- Outgoing personality with an interest to network
- Fluency in English, any additional languages are a plus
