Astore Digital Factory leads all our Digital activities within the Procurement function. Its main responsibility is to develop the business thanks to best-in-class digital tools maximizing the impact (Revenue, EBITDA) of our Procurement business teams in the Paris HQ and in the different worldwide regions. The digital platforms are covering all Procurement business processes: (i) Hospitality supply chain at site (e-ordering through marketplace, Supplier directory, Pre-opening project management, Inventory & recipe management, Invoice to pay, Data, Customer Analytics & Procurement news) and (ii) Internal Procurement operations (Source to contract, CRM, Marketing & Sales automation, Ticketing, Customer Website, Full order to pay Revenue / Back end rebate Management, CSR, Finance process & Business performance analytics).
The Hotel Tools Product team is in charge of all tools at hotel level (e-ordering, inventory & recipe management, invoice to pay), out of which some are “Custom” and others SaaS (Mirakl, Tradeshift, FutureLog).
Job Description
Main activities :
- Works with Product teams to align the roadmap with strengths and opportunities within the technical stack
- Designs the overall technological architecture of Accor’s e-ordering marketplace as well as interfacing with editors (inventory & recipe management, invoice to pay) in collaboration with applicative and infra architects.
- Responsible for the technical design of the product and quality automation strategy
- Constantly looks for better ways of solving technical problems (performance, security, scalability and maintainability) and designing the solution, not afraid of challenging the status quo
- Keeps a budget-oriented mindset in order to always combine technical and financial issues
- Pilots the overall delivery of the technical improvements and IT transversal teams, in maters of budget, staffing, contracts
- Defines technical SLAs for the product (or for the suppliers), monitor tech and quality risks
- Challenges developers (or supplier) on effort estimation and required team size
- Guides project and product teams on technology and quality strategy related to coding practices, continuous integration and automated tests and deployment
- Remains hands on and engage in coding to help the team to develop his solution and solve all surfacing problems at hand Identifies and removes technical impediments
Main complexity :
- Adapts to existing products and teams while challenging technical choices and existing architecture
- Manages suppliers and provides them best practices in code, architecture, security.
- Controls budget impacts of architecture transformation

- Strong communication skills with ability to align the organization on complex technical decisions
- English speaking
- Understands relationship with Product Owner, Scrum Master, Design Lead and rest of technical team
- Can make architecture decisions at a team and product level
- Deep tech knowledge around platform architecture, frontend and backend frameworks and cloud : ReactJS, NodeJS, NextJS, Magento, GraphQL, Elastic, Akeneo, Mirakl, AWS, talend
- Budget and contract management (tech teams and editors)
Additional Information
Background :
- Education Level: Bachelor or Master's Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or computer engineering
- Experience: >8 years; >5 years in a manager role
- Experience in managing tech suppliers (e.g., set-up and monitoring of SLAs, challenge on estimations)
- Experience in developing and scaling high-quality tech platforms in cross-functional product teams
- Extensive experience in iterative and incremental software development using CI/CD pipeline, Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience in Agile Development, with specific Developer or Tech Lead experience preferred
- Good knowledge on collaborative agile tools (JIRA, Confluence)
