We’re seeking a Delivery Lead with strong Agile foundations and Scrum DNA—someone who blends delivery ownership, technical curiosity, and a data‑driven mindset to help teams deliver meaningful, measurable outcomes. In this role, you’ll guide teams from goal to result by using delivery insights, flow metrics, and collaborative problem‑solving to drive predictable, high‑quality execution.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys getting close to the technology, understanding how systems work, and using data to influence decisions to drive outcomes - not just facilitating ceremonies.

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.  

What Will You Be Doing? 

Own delivery outcomes end‑to‑end

  • Take ownership of delivery results for one or more teams—ensuring business goals and timelines translate into working software.
  • Instill a sense of urgency reflecting the goals for the current sprint, upcoming release, and project vision, while passionately emphasizing the importance of meeting these goals and timelines: dates matter.
  • Hold teams accountable to sprint commitments while maintaining a sustainable flow of work.

Turn delivery metrics into action

  • Analyze throughput, cycle time, WIP, defects, and capacity to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Use insights to drive decisions, strengthen predictability, and reduce delivery risks.
  • Partner with engineering leads, product owners, project managers, and business SMEs to ensure insights shape plans and prioritization.

Support technical execution with context

  • Understand core components of applications, integrations & business process the team supports & its purpose.
  • Partner with engineers and product owners to plan work, reveal hidden risks, and unblock technical issues.
  • Ensure technical challenges are surfaced early and handled transparently & remove blockers to hit sprint commitment and goals

Drive realistic planning and accountable delivery

  • Lead sprint planning and quarterly planning that balance team capacity with business need.
  • Create data driven, forward looking plans to manage flow thru of the team, with a view of capacity by skillset to inform decision making.
  • Provide transparent visibility to risks achieving commitments to enable collaborative problem solving with peers, other teams, business stakeholders, tech leads, project managers, project teams and release managers
  • Develop Team dashboards and metrics (sprint goals, capacity, velocity, quality, backlog health, etc) & keep stakeholders informed with clear, outcome‑focused dashboards and delivery updates.
  • Ensure teams commit to realistic goals and follow through on them.

Analyze & Improve workflow

  • Streamline work intake and reduce friction from idea through deployment.
  • Create and support automation to improve delivery speed.
  • Run retrospectives that result in actionable improvements with tracked outcomes.
  • Drive experiments that directly improve speed, quality, or predictability.

 

What Do You Need To Bring? 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience 

  • 3+ years in Agile software development environments
  • Strong experience with Jira and Confluence (advanced preferred)
  • Ability to interpret delivery and flow metrics to guide team decisions
  • Understanding of software development, testing, deployment, and integrations
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and adapt to changing priorities
  • A strong sense of ownership, follow‑through, and delivery accountability
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to identify priorities and mobilize initiatives to achieve desired results with minimal supervision
  • Ability to build business relationships and gain the trust of others, while embracing constructive feedback
  • Capable of stepping in to support other roles on the team
  • Ability to anticipate, mitigate, and resolve conflicts across workgroups
  • Excellent team building, group facilitation and coaching skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including collaboration, facilitation, issue resolution, and customer relationship management skills and an ability to work with diverse personality types
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills; capable of managing multiple projects/tasks in parallel.
