We are seeking a skilled technician to perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on lift equipment, golf carts, man lifts, bicycles, and other mobile equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting electrical circuits (12-480V), AC drive systems, and industrial batteries, with knowledge of wire guidance systems and internal combustion engines as a plus. You should be able to read technical prints, prioritize repairs to maximize uptime, and document tasks in our maintenance database.  This role is critical in ensuring our Distribution Centers run seamlessly. 

What Do You Need To Bring?  

  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform diagnostic checks on electrical circuits 12, 24, 36 and, 48 volt DC trucks. 
  • Must be able to troubleshoot 120 volt circuits. 

  • Must be able to troubleshoot 480 volt 3 phase chargers. 

  • Able to read prints (electrical, Hydraulic). 

  • Ability to follow mechanical breakdown drawings. 

  • Must be able prioritize repairs to maximize equipment up time. 

  • Understanding of Wire guidance and its operation relative to lift equipment. 

  • Document: repairs, parts used and, time completing tasks in A&F maintenance data base. 

  • Knowledge of AC drive lift trucks. 

  • Experience with ICE (Internal Combustion Engines) gas and propane engines is a big plus.     

  • Ability to perform PM’s in a timely manner. 

  • Ability to recognize potential breakdowns found during PM’s and note for the next PM 

  • Knowledge of industrial battery maintenance / PM’s and repairs. 

  • Perform PM’s boom lifts and scissor lifts. 

  • Perform PM’s on electric and gas golf carts as well as propane powered floor scrubbers. 

  • Willing to work weekends when needed. 

  • Willing to come in early or stay late to complete repairs. 

  • Must be able to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude. 

  • Must be willing to work in other area when needed e.g. Controls, conveyors, and projects 

What You Will Be Doing? 

Applicant will be responsible for repairing and or PMing lift equipment, golf carts (gas and battery powered), man lifts, bicycles and other mobile equipment. Day will consist of turn over from first shift technician, meeting w/ shift supervisor. There will be work queued up for the day and paper work to complete. Overtime will be scheduled if we fall behind on repairs.
