Financial Analyst, Revenue Accounting

What Will You Be Doing?
- Support A&F Co.’s Wholesale, Sell Off, Licensing, and Franchise revenue channels
- Supervise and support a team of accounts receivable clerks with responsibility for issuing prompt customer invoices, collecting/applying payment, and researching and resolving invoice discrepancies.
- Create journal entries and reconcile general ledger receivables
- Tie out reported revenue to invoices and subsequent payments
- Control and prevent outstanding past due receivables while maintaining customer relationship and engagement
- Assist manager with data analysis and reporting, including accurate dashboard aging reporting and financial metrics
- Integrate yourself more fully with business operations to provide maximum support
- Stay in front of changing business demands, ensure Finance concerns and needs are addressed in proposed solution
- Assist in maintaining and modifying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures and controls
- Partner with PeopleSoft IT team to adjust invoices to support individual customers' contract terms (discounts, payment terms, delivery, etc.)
- Support Treasury cash flow projections or similar requirements
- Leverage technology, including automation, to drive operational efficiency and effectively manage working capital
- Develop & maintain efficient operational procedures applied consistently across the team
- Cultivate effective relationships with various internal teams, including Business Development, Information Technology (IT), and Treasury
- Provide excellent cross-functional support and troubleshoot issues
- Maintain and communicate individual and team performance standards
What Do You Need To Bring?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related experience
- Strong data mining skills (Experience with Peoplesoft, Hyperion, Excel or ABI). Ability to reconcile large volumes of data using Excel and/or third-party reconciliation software
- Full understanding of basic accounting principles (e.g., revenue recognition, expense matching)
- Ability to reconcile large volumes of data using Excel and/or third-party reconciliation software
- Experience with financial management systems (e.g. PeopleSoft)
- Ability to recruit, develop, and maintain an effective team
- Experience in building strong internal and external business partner relationships, with strong communication skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills with a focus on operational efficiency
- Thrive in stressful situations and maintain calm under pressure
- Comfort in working with large volumes of data (invoices) and an ever evolving and growing segment of the A&F business
- Experience with PeopleSoft preferred, but not required
- Previous supervisory experience preferred, but not required
