Job Description
This individual will be part of a group of engineering professionals responsible for Enterprise Collaboration across the globe. The Enterprise Collaboration team is responsible for design, implementation, and support of our Microsoft 365 and Unified Communications environments. The engineers primary focus will be Microsoft 365 administration where they will be expected to be a subject matter expert in multiple systems. In addition, this individual must be a highly motivated self-starter capable of simultaneously prioritizing and managing a variety of complex project tasks and support activities in a fast-paced environment.
What will you be doing?
- Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft 365 tenant, application portfolio and client-side technologies
- Ability to serve as an escalation point for our Level 2 support and Helpdesk teams
- Plan and document multi-step complex changes and develop disaster recovery procedures
- Interest in new technology (mobile applications, video, bots, etc.) and staying up to date with technology roadmaps and feature rollouts
- Contact and work with vendor support for hardware and/or software problem resolution
- Be available for rotating 24/7 on-call support
What will you need to bring?
1-3 years of Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Endpoint Manager, Teams, Office, Intune, Stream, One Drive, Yammer and other 365 applications
Experience with Microsoft Exchange Online and on-premise Exchange SMTP mail routing
Proficiency in SharePoint Online in a retail environment
Strong working knowledge of Teams administration
Ability to write and maintain PowerShell Scripts and scripting environments
Demonstrated understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting experience
Basic understanding of DNS, firewall, and load balanced environments
Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory both on-prem and in the cloud including OU administration, GPO’s and groups
Working knowledge of Microsoft server and workstation operating systems, registry settings, and logging
In depth understanding of Microsoft Information Governance
Ability to interact with end users to provide technical support and gather feedback
Desire and ability to learn and support new technologies
Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Must possess strong organization skills, including a keen attention to detail
Minimum 4 year degree required
Preferred experience with Microsoft 365 automation and monitoring in an Enterprise landscape
Preferred Teams Bot creation and support
Preferred Interaction with Microsoft’s Power Platform
Preferred Graph API programming
Preferred Teams voice and queuing experience
Microsoft Certifications and licensing comprehension are a plus
