Job Description

The Finance Manager, US Commercial Monitoring & Analytics, leads financial compliance monitoring and analytics for Employee Business Expenses, Sponsorships, Exhibits, and Memberships across US Therapeutics and Aesthetics. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity, completeness, and accuracy of Healthcare Provider (HCP) and Healthcare Organization (HCO) financial data in support of Sunshine Act reporting and broader compliance requirements.  This position combines analytics, compliance oversight, and team leadership, driving a risk-based monitoring framework.  The position leads a team of three Senior Financial Analysts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Employee Business Expense, Sponsorship, Exhibit, and Membership Monitoring Program to ensure compliance with Sunshine Act reporting requirements.
  • Provide key leadership in the go-live and implementation of Project Genesis systems for U.S. Commercial Therapeutics, with a focus on HCP and HCO event processes and data integrity.
  • Review monitoring results to identify trends, recurring issues, and emerging risks; develop targeted remediation strategies and escalate significant concerns as appropriate.
  • Own and evolve the Employee Business Expense and Observation platforms (Power BI) for quarterly leadership reporting and decision making.
  • Review the quarterly reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate event closure.
  • Leverage technology, including AI and data mining tools such as Dataiku, to automate and enhance current data monitoring processes while identifying additional monitoring opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Internal Audit and Office of Ethics and Compliance teams to ensure risk-based approach to monitoring transaction accuracy.
  • Drive continuous process improvement to increase efficiency, consistency, scalability and effectiveness across monitoring activities.
  • Support external and internal audits, investigations, and legal requests by providing timely and accurate information.   
  • Lead and develop a team of 3 Senior Financial Analysts, maintaining high standards of accuracy, consistency, and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or data analytics required; Master’s degree and/or CPA preferred.
    • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in audit, finance, or accounting.
    • Strong analytical and technical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power BI; experience with Dataiku or comparable data analytics tools preferred.
    • Demonstrated strong leadership and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills, with close attention to detail and data accuracy
