Job Description

Job Objective: Supervise and coordinate production activities, managing teams and resources to achieve efficiency, quality, safety, and output goals. Maintain an optimal work environment and promote continuous improvement in processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise production teams including scheduling, training, motivation, and performance management of line personnel.
  • Ensure efficient, organized operations, complying with procedures, standards, and regulations (GMP, FDA, ISO, OHSAS, SOX, etc.).
  • Analyze, implement, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects/scrap, increase yields/productivity, using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Guarantee product traceability and quality through unit, router, and label review, and accurate records in manufacturing systems (SFA, SAP, Kronos or equivalent).
  • Manage key performance indicators, production metrics, and prepare periodic reports to communicate progress, incidents, and results.
  • Coordinate shift transitions to ensure continuity of operations and compliance with production plans.
  • Participate in audits, investigate non-conformances, and ensure compliance with corporate and legal EHS requirements, tasks, and necessary trainings.
  • Propose and execute corrective and preventive actions related to safety, quality, efficiency, and collaborative culture.
  • Collaborate with support areas (Engineering, Quality, Materials, HR) to define priorities, resources, and projects.
  • Foster a safe, positive work environment focused on team development, diversity, and inclusion.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Alternatively, a technical degree or advanced studies plus relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of leadership/supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably in medical, pharmaceutical, or electronics industries.
  • Intermediate to advanced English skills (minimum B1/B2 level).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP), quality systems (FDA, ISO), lean tools, Six Sigma, and manufacturing IT systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; basic statistics/reporting.
  • Experience managing staff, resolving conflicts, coaching, and developing teams.
