We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Dental Assistant to become an integral part of our Chartwell branch in Hamilton. Working 3 days per week, this role offers the opportunity to support our clinical team helping deliver an exceptional patient experience.

Dental Assistant Responsibilities

• Supporting our clinicians during a wide range of dental procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining high standards of infection control
• Sterilising instruments and ensuring equipment is ready for use
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and treatment notes
• Monitoring and replenishing clinical supplies
• Helping create a safe, efficient, and well-organised clinical environment
• Monitor stock control

Hours

• Monday 8:30am-3:30pm
• Wednesday 8.30am-3.30pm
• Friday: 8:30am – 3:30pm

This is a rewarding role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous Dental Assistant experience preferred but not essential
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using dental practice software (EXACT experience is advantageous)
• Strong typing skills
• A genuine passion for patient care and creating positive patient experiences
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, reliable, and trustworthy approach with a high level of confidentiality
• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive team culture
• Valid NZ work right
