Join a busy, well‑established, and caring dental practice at Channel Dental Care, proudly serving the Kingston community for over 20 years.
Located in the heart of Kingston, just a one‑minute walk from the Kingston Shopping Centre, Channel Dental Care is a highly productive, five‑chair practice with one of the largest patient bases in southern Tasmania. The practice operates at full capacity with books filled 1–3 months in advance, offering strong demand and full patient schedules from day one.
We are seeking a Full‑Time Dentist to join our close‑knit, family‑oriented team in a replacement role within a thriving, fast‑paced clinical environment.
You’ll be supported by a hard‑working, efficient, and collaborative team, with support staff experience ranging from 2 to 20 years. The culture is genuinely family‑oriented, with a strong focus on teamwork, mutual respect, and delivering high‑quality patient care.
Job Description
You will step into an established patient base with strong continuity of care, providing comprehensive general dentistry. The previous clinician practised a broad scope of dentistry, including:
- Restorative dentistry
- Endodontics
- Prosthodontics
- Extractions (strong ongoing demand)
There is scope for clinicians with interests in implants and sedation, with nitrous oxide sedation currently used by one of the practitioners onsite.
You will work collaboratively with an experienced clinical team to diagnose and treat oral health conditions, develop tailored treatment plans, and educate patients on preventative care and oral hygiene.
Channel Dental Care offers a well‑equipped and efficient clinical environment, including:
- 5 modern treatment chairs (right‑handed surgeries)
- Intraoral scanner
- Surgical handpiece unit
- Endodontic equipment
- In‑chair whitening
- On‑site laboratory for dentures and mouthguards
- CBCT and advanced imaging
- Nitrous oxide sedation available on selected days
Qualifications
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Professional indemnity insurance (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient‑centred care
- Eligibility to work in Australia
