What you'll be doing... 

Working as a key senior member of the Model Booking team you will be securing top talent worldwide to feature in ASOS creative content across multiple platforms. You will be owning the coordination of international bookings and maximizing our position with model agencies by maintaining our high ASOS standards and reputation. 

• Reporting directly into the Model Manager, you will be responsible for casting creative shoots across ASOS ranging from social content to large scale campaigns
• Working closely with the Head of Models & Talent and Model Manager, you will focus on sourcing aspirational, top tier ASOS models for multiple creative shoots taking place weekly
• You will be crucial in building a diverse pool of approved ASOS faces which continuously grow to remain current, exciting and always ASOS relevant
• You will be working with model agencies worldwide and spotting up and coming models that can join the ASOS family
• Nurturing existing relationships with international model agencies as well as establishing new ones when required, ensuring our first-class reputation is maintained and that all suppliers operate in-line with our standards.
• Working alongside the wider creative team (eg. producers, styling, photographers) to ensure smooth booking and running of all shoot days
• You will be provided with and take ownership of an average rate card and total budget per shoot. You will use strong negotiation skills to acquire models within these budgets, working to varying shoot requirements and usage types
• You will be required to be agile and adaptable with casting and bookings as projects develop and evolve. Problem solving and thriving in a past faced environment
• Securing model options and pulling together strong visual content to present and champion model suggestions for each shoot
• Managing multiple shoots at one time working with the Lead model booker and Model manager to delegate and acquire assistance from the wider model team when needed
• You will be attending shoots both in studio and on location to take ownership of your models booked and ensure first class model welfare is maintained in all environments
• You will work alongside the shoot team on set to get the best out of your models
• Dealing with any model issues professionally and in line with ASOS behaviours policy
• You will be working with the Lead Model Booker and wider booking team to support with elevating the models used for ecomm ensuring one clear model vision across the site
• Working alongside the Lead model booker to use some models across multiple shoot types in order to maximise model bookings, especially on those booked internationally
• Responsible for model travel logistics, project budgets, castings, and fittings, adding jobs to our booking platform and demonstrating attention to detail end-to-end
• Working alongside the Lead Model Booker to develop more junior members of the team, passing on agency experience and helping to strengthen their ASOS eye
• Communicating well with business stakeholders at all levels, stepping in to cover the Model manager in their absence
• Developing your leadership style and communication in line with ASOS Behaviours policy
• Working closely with your Management team to successfully deliver the department strategy. Build strong, professional, and collaborative relationships with the wider studio team
• Encouraging the team to be authentic, brave, and creative and to follow all company and departmental strategies, leading by example.
• Delivering projects to support the department strategy and any other ad-hoc tasks defined by the Model Team Manager.
• Contributing to team and departmental meetings.
• Be recognised as an aspirational figure within your team and the wider department.

We'd love to meet, someone with... 

• Previous model booking experience with existing agency relationships
• Previous experience managing or mentoring junior members within a team
• Previous experience casting for high profile shoots
• Previous experience on set working with models of differing levels of experience
• Previous experience and understanding of booking shoots with different types of usages
• A good understanding of shoot production in a commercial environment
• Outstanding negotiation skills and ability to work confidently with contracts, model usages and block bookings
• A methodical, accurate and extremely organised approach with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and strong interpersonal skills.  
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and think on their feet.
• Assertive and forward thinking.
• A 'can do' attitude and high level of efficiency.
• An 'unflappable' nature who is excellent at delivering and giving feedback.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm, and a real team player. 
• Skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, In Design and in the general day to day running of a PC and/or MAC.
