Company Description
The Inventory store person is responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and ensuring that all products are properly stored and accounted for. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Verify inventory stock check for internal and external customers needed.
- Prepare reports on inventory location levels to Supply Chain team for SKUs slotting.
- Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy of records.
- Coordinate with outbound team to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
- Provide adequate stocktake training for all warehouse staff.
- Ensure claims from stores are investigated and acted on promptly.
- Create stock compression sheet.
- Assign pick location to WMS from slotting plan.
- Upload template to WMS open location for delivery order allocation run.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- Receive and process incoming inventory.
Qualifications
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience in inventory management or related field preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
- Deliver work of high standard and monitor quality of work.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent and effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and operate a forklift preferred.
