Job Description
The Position:
The Systems Administrator will oversee the operational support and troubleshooting of our IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless functionality and support for our deployed sales team, external call center operations, and corporate resources. Reporting to the IT Manager, the Systems Administrator will work closely with various teams to maintain and enhance our systems, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
Please note this is a hybrid position and requires employees to work out of our Overland Park, KS office two days per week.
What you will do:
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 IT support escalated by fellow IT team members
- Troubleshoot SaaS applications, email routing/delivery, O365, Google Apps, Active Directory, AWS, DNS, LAN, VPN, AV/Security apps, and other issues as they arise
- Work on both Tech support and system administration tickets, Including FUS setups.
- Provide IT support in person and over the phone for all employees and facilitate end-user training on new software applications and other technology.
- Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
- Implement new operational processes aligned with global standards and maintain the existing operations with an eye to improving as needed
- Evaluate existing systems, processes, and procedures, and recommend improvements
- Design and perform rollouts for OS patches, and software deployments using deployment tools such as ManageEngine EndPoint Central
- Always create & maintain technical and architectural documentation
- Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root causes, and provide technical support when needed
- Assist with managing major incidents - communication, root cause analysis etc.
- Ability to physically move and install equipment including but not limited to desktop PCs, servers, network equipment, etc.
- Other day-to-day assignments as needed
- Manage time and tasks as assigned by manager
Qualifications
Required Skills and Competencies:
- 2+ years of Systems Administration experience (SaaS applications, hardware and networking services)
- Two years of direct experience with advanced use of Active Directory, specifically regarding Group Policy and endpoint management.
- Microsoft Office 365 Enterprise, Active Directory (Azure Domain Services, AD Connect, ADFS, GPO) administration
- Google Suite administration
- Strong experience with Windows/Linux server administration
- DNS administration (CNAME, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, etc.)
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routing, QoS)
- Well-versed in Patch Management, Software Deployment, OS Imaging & Deployment using deployment tools such as ManageEngine Desktop Central and/or Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
- Experience with network storage devices
- Experience administering backups & recovery for critical systems
- Strong knowledge of various scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
- Strong analytical and communication skills for relaying technical information to others
- Customer Service oriented and self-starter that can address customer issues effectively under tight deadlines

Compensation
- Base Salary: $70,000 to $85,000 + 10% Bonus
