Job Description

We are expanding our trainer network and seeking passionate and experienced digital skills and vocational development trainers to support adult learners through personalised one-on-one training sessions. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others build confidence, develop practical workplace skills, and achieve their employment goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualised training sessions tailored to adult learners' needs and goals.
  • Facilitate learning in digital literacy, workplace technology, and vocational skill areas.
  • Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Track learner progress and provide feedback and guidance throughout their learning journey.
  • Maintain accurate training records and communication with the broader training team.
  • Adapt training approaches to suit different learning styles and capabilities.


About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in training, coaching, mentoring, teaching or adult education.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Confidence working with adult learners in both face-to-face and online environments.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills.
  • The ability to build rapport and support learners with patience, empathy and professionalism.


Desirable Qualifications and Experience

While not essential, you may also have:

  • Relevant training and assessment qualifications
  • Experience supporting individuals returning to employment or changing careers
  • Exposure to literacy, numeracy, business administration, customer service or project-based training
  • Ongoing professional development and trainer supportAccess to training materials, resources and learning programs
