Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Planning & Coordination Lead to support production planning, project execution, and agile delivery across automotive engineering programs. This role will focus on coordinating day-to-day development activities, ensuring teams follow validated plans, and maintaining productivity across complex automotive projects.

You will work closely with Project Management, Scrum Masters, Engineering, and Quality teams, using planning tools and Agile methodologies to support scheduling, progress tracking, and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain sprint and release plans in collaboration with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Engineering Leads.
  • Use tools such as Jira, MS Project, or equivalent for planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
  • Ensure plans consider design constraints, component availability, and engineering resource capacity.
  • Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Contribute to long-term program roadmaps and milestone planning.
  • Prepare contingency plans to mitigate risks and unblock development delays.
  • Monitor daily progress of automotive development tasks and identify blockers (technical dependencies, supplier delays, resource constraints).
  • Coordinate closely with engineering leads, QA, and production teams to resolve issues promptly and maintain project velocity.
  • Ensure teams adhere to validated sprint plans and escalate deviations when necessary.
  • Interface with design and simulation teams to resolve field engineering constraints quickly.

 

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Experience in automotive program planning, project coordination, or production scheduling.
  • Familiarity with automotive development processes (e.g., V-model, ISO 26262, APQP).
  • Strong understanding of project planning, workflow optimization, and team coordination.
  • Experience working closely with engineering, QA, and production teams.
  • Ability to identify blockers quickly and implement solutions to maintain velocity.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.

Desirable Skills :

  • Experience in automotive sector.
  • Familiarity with integrated program management tools such as Jira, Rally, or MS Project.
  • Experience supporting large-scale automotive programs (EV, autonomous, connected vehicles).
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and functional safety standards in automotive.
