Are you an experienced IT Systems Engineer with a passion for managing complex network environments? We are looking for a talented professional to join our team and take charge of the networks that support our advanced simulation environments. If you have experience with managing IT systems for simulators or other operational technology-based systems, this role could be your next exciting challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deployable Communication Systems: Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure for deployable communication systems, ensuring reliable and secure communication in diverse environments.
• Requirements Capture: Work closely with end users to capture and translate their needs into detailed technical requirements, ensuring that all project goals are clearly defined and met.
• Bid Work: Contribute to the development of bids, providing technical expertise and ensuring that proposals are robust, competitive, and aligned with customer needs.
• On-site Presence: Be available to work on-site in Portsmouth three days a week, collaborating closely with the team and stakeholders to drive project success.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong background in network engineering, with a focus on deployable communication systems desirable
• Proven experience in capturing requirements directly from end users and translating them into actionable plans.
• Experience with bid work, including the ability to contribute technical insights and ensure proposals meet both technical and budgetary requirements.
• Must be eligible for UK Eyes Only (UKEO) and possess BPSS clearance, with the ability to obtain SC (Security Clearance).
