Job Description
We are looking for an experienced individual to lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of IBM Engineering Requirements Management (DOORS) within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of requirements management processes and possess technical expertise in utilizing IBM DOORS to effectively capture, analyze, and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into comprehensive requirements specifications within IBM DOORS.
- Lead the configuration, customization, and administration of IBM DOORS to meet the specific needs of projects and teams.
- Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices to ensure alignment between requirements, design, and test cases.
- Provide support to project teams on IBM DOORS usage, best practices, and methodologies.
- Establish and enforce standards, guidelines, and procedures for requirements management within IBM DOORS.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and project managers to ensure requirements are accurately captured and communicated.
- Perform regular audits and quality checks to ensure data integrity and consistency within IBM DOORS.
- Stay updated on the latest features, enhancements, and industry trends related to IBM DOORS and requirements management practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with IBM Engineering Requirements Management (DOORS) in a professional setting.
- Strong understanding of requirements management processes and methodologies.
- Proficiency in customizing and configuring IBM DOORS according to project requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Experience providing support to end-users on IBM DOORS usage.
- IBM DOORS certification(s) is preferred but not required.
