Where You Will Work:

Our corporate office is located in the Denver Tech Center. Our office spans the top two floors of the building and features expansive views of the mountains and the downtown skyline.

We are hiring a Senior Accountant to join our centralized team in the Denver Tech Center, CO, who will be responsible for:

  • Performs and monitors high-priority initiatives across the accounting department, including rotational assignments.
  • Works independently and exhibits technical expertise and business knowledge.
  • Ensuring accuracy of corporate financial records, which includes preparing and reviewing financial reports, journal entries, variance analysis, and rollforwards.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert for specialized accounting areas/systems, including training and trouble shooting in area of expertise.
  • Acts as Team Leader including mentoring new hires, leading projects, and resolving issues. Participates in special projects that impact policies and procedures.
  • Complies with internal controls.
  • Collaborates among departments to share accounting data, improve efficiencies, and implement process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Experience recording monthly journal entries, accruals, reclasses, etc.
  • Experience conducting variance analysis.
  • Experience conducting actual to budget/forecast analysis.
  • Experience with monthly, quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Experience conducting actual to budget/forecast analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred. 
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient financial system skills with an emphasis on Excel, SmartView
  • Workday Financials experience a plus.
  • Superb attention to detail.
  • Nimble problem solver who enjoys complex challenges.
  • Demonstrates quality customer service, teamwork, and cultural fit.

Additional Information

AIR offers attractive total compensation packages designed to recognize and reward performance at the individual, team and company levels. We start with a competitive base salary and add bonus opportunities and benefit choices topped off with:

  • Expected base salary of $90,000- $110,000. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
