Job Description
The Senior Marketing Lead oversees the day-to-day execution of marketing programs, projects, and operational initiatives that support business objectives and drive apartment rental demand. This role is responsible for coordinating team workflows, ensuring the timely and effective delivery of marketing initiatives, and maintaining operational excellence across marketing functions.
The Senior Marketing Lead serves as a key resource for the team by providing direction on project execution, facilitating communication across stakeholders, and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency, and overall team performance.
Marketing Operations & Project Execution
- Oversees the day-to-day execution of marketing projects, campaigns, and operational initiatives to ensure timely delivery, quality outcomes, and alignment with business objectives.
- Leads the planning, coordination, and implementation of marketing programs across multiple channels, including web, email, print, digital advertising, social media, and point-of-sale marketing.
- Owns workflow management across multiple concurrent initiatives, balancing resources, priorities, deadlines, and business needs.
- Establishes project scopes, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and success metrics to support effective project execution.
- Makes routine operational and tactical decisions to address project needs, maintain workflow continuity, and support team productivity.
- Identifies project risks, roadblocks, and dependencies and proactively implements solutions to ensure successful outcomes.
- Reviews marketing deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, brand alignment, and adherence to established standards and processes.
- Maintains documentation, project records, timelines, and operational reporting to support organizational effectiveness.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Serves as a key resource and subject matter expert for Marketing Specialists, Senior Marketing Specialists, and Marketing Leads, providing guidance, coaching, and support on project execution and best practices.
- Coordinates and prioritizes team workloads to ensure efficient resource utilization and successful delivery of marketing initiatives.
- Facilitates communication and collaboration among marketing team members, field partners, vendors, agency partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Communicates project priorities, expectations, deadlines, risks, and status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Influences decision-making and drives alignment across stakeholders to support organizational goals and operational efficiency.
- Supports onboarding and ongoing development of team members by sharing knowledge, tools, resources, and process improvements.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Analyzes marketing workflows, operational procedures, and team processes to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness.
- Develops, implements, and maintains process enhancements, standard operating procedures, and best practices that improve team performance and consistency.
- Evaluates marketing tools, technologies, and workflows and recommends enhancements that support productivity and operational excellence.
- Tracks operational performance and key project metrics to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and inform continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, brand standards, legal requirements, and established marketing procedures.
- Supports budget stewardship by monitoring project expenditures, vendor activities, and resource allocation within assigned initiatives.
Strategic Marketing Support
- Collaborates with leadership to translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans and operational priorities.
- Monitors industry trends, competitive activity, consumer behavior, and marketing best practices to support innovation and continuous improvement.
- Assesses campaign performance and operational effectiveness and provides recommendations to improve execution and results.
- Participates in annual planning, campaign development, and initiative prioritization to support organizational growth objectives.
- Makes tradeoff decisions across competing priorities while balancing business impact, resource availability, timelines, and stakeholder needs.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
- 4-6 years of progressive marketing, marketing operations, project management, or related experience required.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, vendors, agency partners, and internal teams to achieve project objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands and make sound decisions under changing business conditions.
- Experience executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional marketing channels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within multifamily housing, real estate, property management, hospitality, retail, or other multi-location service environments preferred.
- Experience leading marketing operations, campaign management, or process improvement initiatives.
- Working knowledge of marketing automation, CRM, content management systems, and digital advertising platforms.
- Experience developing standard operating procedures, workflow documentation, and project management frameworks.
- Certification in project management, Agile methodologies, process improvement, or related disciplines preferred.
- Experience analyzing campaign performance metrics, marketing effectiveness, and operational KPIs to drive informed decision-making.

What We Offer
AIR offers attractive total compensation packages designed to recognize and reward performance including:
- Expected pay rate of $95,000-$105,000 with targeted annual bonus opportunities. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
