Job Description
AHRC NYC is holding a HIRING EVENT for 2 Part -Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for our Manhattan ICF residences.
PAY RATE: $20.60-$20.96 per hour depending on Driving status. In addition, this position comes with a comprehensive Benefit package which includes FREE MEDICAL INSURANCE! See below for additional Benefit information.
DATE & TIME: WEDNESDAY MAY 13TH, 2026 from 10AM-1PM
LOCATION: Recruiter will provide Hiring Event specific address for qualified candidates.
POSITIONs TO BE FILLED:
(2)-30hr Weekend Overnight shift: 10pm-8am...Friday night - Sunday night....Driver's license NOT required
Weekend availability Required for most positions!

- The oversight of all safety and health considerations
- Promoting skill development, interests, and hobbies
- Assisting with Adult Daily Living skills (ADLs)
- Other personalized responsibilities including cooking, cleaning, hygiene, etc.
Qualifications
- Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
- Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills. Patience is a MUST!
- Willingness to support people's preferences for community, activities, work, leisure activities, the exercise of their rights etc. in various settings.
- Ability to use a computer for data entry.
- High school education/GED, highly preferred.
