Job Description
As Water and Wastewater Engineer at AFRY, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects in that will make a real impact. Through the Design Center you will collaborate with a team of highly skilled professionals in Sweden and play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions for our clients. It is important that you are a team player that like to work in teams with different competences and that you are curious and eager to learn new things.
At AFRY you will work with planning and design in the field of highways/roads, streets and earthworks and design and develop water and wastewater infrastructure systems. We expect that you have a profound experience working with CAD, mainly Civil 3D and/or Novapoint.
About the team in Sweden
Out of AFRY’s Infrastructure Divisions 6,500 employees approximately 200 are Road and Highway Engineers in the Swedish organisation. The team in South currently have 14 engineers working with Road and Highway engineering. The team provides services in geometric design, detailed design, earthwork, technical specifications, quantity calculations and bill of quantities. We work in all stages of the planning and building process from feasibility studies to detailed design and as built documentation.
You key responsibilities are:
- Designing and engineering of highways, roads and streets.
- 3D-modelling.
- Quantity calculations.
- Drawing preparation.
Qualifications
We expect that you have:
- A Qualified Degree in Civil Engineering
- 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in design of highways, roads and streets.
- Good written and verbal English language (CEFR minimum level B1).
- Working knowledge of Civil 3D and/or Novapoint.
- A good knowledge of working in all applications of MS Office.
We appreciate if you have:
- Experience of working abroad, especially projects in the Nordics.
- Experience of working with the Swedish Transport Administration.
