    The Global Division Industry provides engineering and consulting services across industrial sectors, with a focus on mining and metals, pulp and paper, life sciences, biorefining and chemicals, food, and automotive.     Job Description

    We are looking for a Mining Engineer Expert to strengthen our team serving a wide range of clients in the mining and metals industries.

    In this role, you will act as a mining expert and/or project manager during the project development and execution phases of clients’ investment projects. Ideally, you would hold Qualified Person status under JORC, NI 43-101, PERC, or a similar reporting code, and be able to act as a QP in mining feasibility study projects.

    Depending on your experience and skills profile, your tasks may include sales management, proposal development, project management, lead mining engineering tasks, and the development of working methods and client offerings. You will be fully supported by multi-skilled colleagues, and our international project base provides opportunities for further professional growth.     Qualifications

    Ideally, the person we are looking for has:

    • An M.Sc. degree or higher in a relevant field.
    • A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in mining feasibility studies, mining engineering, conceptual and basic engineering, and project execution. Junior positions are also available.
    • The ability to act as a leading expert in mining projects.
    • Deep knowledge of the field and the ability to provide practical solutions for clients.
    • The ability to develop life-of-mine schedules for open-pit and underground projects.
    • Experience in open-pit and stope optimisation workflows
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • The ability to develop new solutions, projects, and approaches in a client-oriented manner.
    • Fluent communication skills in English.

    The following are considered advantages:

    • Understanding of economically and technically based scoping, pre-feasibility, and feasibility studies in the mining industry under JORC, NI 43-101, PERC Code, or similar reporting standards.
    • Qualified Person status, including membership in a professional organisation recognised by the international mining community as a reputable professional association. Under NI 43-101, qualifying foreign associations and the appropriate membership designations are set out in the companion policy to NI 43-101.
    • Rock engineering know-how.
