We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to oversee the design, engineering, and construction of mechanical systems related to Boilers, Flue Gas Treatment (FGT), and Fuel Feeding systems for power plant or waste-to-energy projects. The role requires strong technical leadership, site experience, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

• Lead the engineering, erection, and construction of:
  • Boiler systems
  • Flue Gas Treatment (FGT) systems
  • Solid fuel / Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) feeding systems
• Oversee all mechanical works on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and timelines
• Review and approve:
  • Engineering designs and drawings
  • Method statements and technical documentation
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitor project progress and provide technical guidance and problem-solving support
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental (HSE), and quality standards
• Participate in commissioning and testing activities of mechanical systems
• Provide regular reporting to project management on progress, risks, and issues
• Support procurement by reviewing technical specifications and vendor proposals

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in:
  • Construction of power plants or waste-to-energy projects
• Proven experience in:
  • Boiler systems
  • Flue Gas Treatment (FGT) systems
  • Solid fuel or MSW feeding systems
• Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical and structural interfaces
• Experience working in EPC or Owner’s Engineer (OE) environments is preferred
• Familiar with international standards (e.g., ASME, ISO, IEC)
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
• Ability to work in a site-based, fast-paced environment
