What You Should Have
We are seeking experienced Energy Professionals to join AFRY’s dynamic team and deliver innovative LNG supply and energy solutions to our clients. You will be involved in feasibility studies, conceptual design, technical due diligence, and basic engineering for LNG and LNG-to-Power projects across Asia.
The role also involves leading conceptual designs, developing feasibility Studies for onshore LNG import terminals and ensuring smooth integration with power plants.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead feasibility studies, conceptual designs, and technical due diligence for LNG import terminals.
- Deliver engineering deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, HMBs, and detailed process calculations.
- Prepare ITB and EPC bidding documents as per local and international standards.
- Collaborate closely with FEED/EPC contractors, reviewing proposals to ensure alignment with project requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop and deliver high-quality technical reports and maintain effective communication with clients.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of process engineering/design experience in LNG import terminal projects.
- Proven expertise in:
- LNG terminal process design, including topside equipment, LNG storage tanks, regasification systems, and BOG handling systems.
- Using process modeling tools and performing hydraulic and process calculations.
- Developing and reviewing PFDs, P&IDs, HMBs, and related technical documentation.
- Supporting HAZOP, HAZID, SIL assessments and coordinating multi-disciplinary deliverables.
- Good knowledge of international process design standards and safety best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Aspen HYSYS (experience with other simulation tools is a plus).
- Strong report writing, analytical, and English communication skills.
- Experience working with reputed engineering firms or international consulting companies is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’ Degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university (Master’s preferred).
- A Chemical Engineer with an MBA is preferred
- Candidates currently based in Taiwan will be given preference.
