Due to the expansion of our business, we are looking for a qualified candidate to join us in our Jakarta office for the following position.
Contract: Fixed term for 1-2 years
Job Description
- Verify and check all invoices, advance payment request, etc for the completeness of the supporting docs and approval before proceed for the payment and journal entry.
- Verify and check all business trip settlement, advance payment settlement for the completeness of the supporting docs.
- Prepare bank transfer payments along with the supporting documents for all transactions including overseas payments.
- Prepare and obtain underlying documents as required by the bank for overseas payments.
- Prepare bank transfer payments and ensure the WHT and payment amount is properly calculated before submission to Finance & Accounting Manager for approval;
- Maintain account receivables collection and account payable payment for transactions with local parties;
- Check and maintain the list for the WHT Art.23 certificates collected from all clients to be used as tax credit on the annual Corporate Income Tax Return;
- Maintain fixed assets list and reconciliation on depreciation expense between fixed assets list and accounting record;
- Monitor and follow up all outstanding advance payments.
- Maintain prepaid expenses and accrue expenses list.
- Responsible for Bank Indonesia monthly report both for foreign exchange transactions and offshore loan;
- Prepare and calculate monthly tax payment for VAT offshore, VAT, WHT Article 23/26, WHT Article 4 (2) comply with tax regulation and ensure an accurate payment in timely manner;
- Prepare monthly tax reports (WHT Article 23/26 and WHT Article 4 (2)) and ensure the submission of monthly tax reports in timely manner;
- Prepare tax reconciliation and equalization for WHT Article 23/26 and WHT Article 4(2) between tax reports with GL accounts;
- Input and prepare journal entry for all bank payment transactions to local vendors/ suppliers paid through IDR bank account into Accounting system;
- Input and prepare journal entry accurately into accounting software for all tax transactions;
- Input and prepare journal entry for all incoming transfer received from local clients through IDR bank account into Accounting system;
- Prepare invoice and receipt payment slip for clients and inter companies;
- Coordinate and correspondence with finance and accounting team of companies within AFRY Group to obtain Certificate of Domicile/ Resident for tax purpose and requirements;
- Perform other accounting/ finance/ tax duties as assigned from time to time;
- Organize and filing all Accounting, Finance, Tax, Audit and monthly report documents properly;
- Coordinate with other Departments and Project Personnel;
- Liaise and maintain a good relationship with Bank Officer, Bank Indonesia officer, Tax Consultant, External Auditor, Internal Auditor and Tax Officer.
Qualifications
- University degree in relevant field;
- Minimum 10 years of experiences in related field;
- Possess strong knowledge about Indonesian tax regulation;
- Have Brevet A & B Certificates;
- Experience in handling WHT Article 23/26, WHT Article 4 (2) and VAT;
- Familiar with taxation software;
- Able to use Accounting Software;
- Detail oriented, high accuracy, patient and diligent;
- Strong in technical and analytical skills;
- Have strong knowledge and understanding of Accounting and Finance;
- Self motivated and able to handle multi-tasks, work under pressure and meet deadline requirements;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Good command of English in both written and spoken and ability to work in a multinational project team.
