To further strengthen our competence in the Sales Excellence team, that is part of Group Strategy, we are now looking for a Pricing Manager to lead the pricing strategy for AFRY. Group Strategy includes, Strategy, Sustainability and Sales Excellence and we work together to make AFRY an even more relevant partner for our customers by supplying engineering services that will shape a more sustainable future. The strategy team is place in our Headquarters in Solna but we work globally.
As our new pricing manager, you will have the opportunity to cooperate with senior internal stakeholders as well as coaching and offer hands-on support to the organization when developing and implementing pricing strategies. Your ability to communicate and gain traction for pricing excellence will be crucial together with your ability to drive change management within a highly decentralized global company.

Travelling will be part of the role, with approximately 20-40 days per year
The position is at HQ in Solna, Sweden. Full-time employment.
Job Description
You will work both strategically and operationally through supporting the organization with pricing activities.
An important part of the role is to drive the pricing agenda together with senior stakeholders to ensure pricing insights are at the heart of AFRYs decisions and communicate extensively within the company, including with heads of divisions and departments. You will lead change management efforts to get cross-division buy-in and foster a division-led culture of pricing excellence.
Another important part of role is to offer hands-on support to divisions/teams to develop and implement pricing strategies and initiatives to maximize revenue and profitability – including current state analysis, bid development and risk mitigation (e.g., contractual), pricing sensitivity analysis and scenario modelling. The pricing manager will lead the identification of pockets of over-/under-performance from which to drive appropriate pricing strategies.
You will lead and coordinate the work with pricing methodology, processes and tools, driving pricing improvement strategies across the organization and work together with the divisions Pricing Champions and to get the best result in the organization you will support, coach, mentor, and share your expertise with salespeople and other stakeholders.
You will in cooperation with the divisions establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure pricing effectiveness and you will enable data-driven decision making by coordinating system support requests to IT/data teams as well as ensuring that requests are fulfilled.
Qualifications
We are looking for a team player, who knows how to lead by example, how to empower by a positive attitude and how to lead change management. You are passionate and have a proven track-record of driving successful pricing initiatives. To be able to lead and get traction from the organization it is of outermost importance to have experience from pricing in consultancy firm, and experience from engineering consultancy is preferable.
To be successful in this role, the person we are looking for has:
Relevant Master degree, preferably within business, finance, or a related field
Extensive experience in B2B professional services pricing strategy and leadership roles.
Experience in pricing optimization across multiple models including cost-plus, market-based and value-based pricing
Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
Proven track record in change management, preferably including guiding teams through pricing transformations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. English language is mandatory, Swedish language is preferred
Experience from large corporations, multinational is preferred
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Certification in pricing strategy or change management is a plus.
