Job Description

As the Head of Enablement and Governance, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how our technology and data teams work, deliver and continuously improve.

In this newly created senior leadership position, you will bring clarity, momentum and discipline to complex environments. You’ll enable better outcomes through clear governance, strong portfolio oversight and trusted executive support, while representing the CTO and helping the organisation move forward with confidence and purpose. 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead technology and data operations, process excellence and continuous improvement to support scalable, effective delivery
  • Establish and run portfolio, program and PMO disciplines, including prioritisation, dependency management, reporting and benefits realisation
  • Operate the front door for technology delivery, embedding common ways of working, demand management and change enablement
  • Coordinate IT governance, knowledge management, collaboration practices and organisational change initiatives
  • Partner with finance and commercial leaders on technology investment, portfolio financial management and reporting
  • Oversee risk and governance reporting, working closely with cyber security, risk and assurance teams
  • Act as a delegate for the CTO, representing technology and data at executive forums, steering committees and enterprise governance bodies
  • Provide high‑quality executive support to the CTO through briefings, insights, papers and follow‑up that drive clear decisions and accountability
  • Lead and develop teams spanning operations, process improvement, PMO and governance

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll bring: 

  • Strong proven experience in chief of staff/business manager/senior adviser roles or technology and data delivery assurance and portfolio leadership. 
  • Strong judgement with the ability to advise executives, prioritise effectively and drive execution across complex environments. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to synthesise complex issues into clear options and recommendations. 
  • Confidence operating in executive, steering committee and governance forums. 
  • Highly developed stakeholder management, influence and organisational awareness.
