Job Description
- Build, mobilise and lead the multidisciplinary EC R+I micro-team in line with confirmed project demand and the agreed recruitment plan. Act as the principal day-to-day interface between ANZ R+I project and pursuit teams and the EC delivery organisation.
- Convert pipeline visibility into practical workforce plans, recruitment priorities, onboarding actions and succession plans. Coordinate EC input to pursuits, mobilisation planning, estimates, delivery strategies and workshare commitments.
- Maintain oversight of team utilisation, workload balance, forecast demand, delivery performance and cost effectiveness.
- Establish clear ownership, hand-offs, communication routines and escalation paths across international teams and time zones. Work with discipline leaders to maintain technical quality, checking, safety-in-design, risk management and project governance.
- Coach and develop team members, strengthen technical and project delivery capability, and create an inclusive, high-performing culture.
- Identify delivery constraints early and agree corrective actions with the relevant EC and regional leaders. Drive standardisation, digital adoption, lessons learned and continuous improvement across the micro-team. Track and report EC hours, workshare uptake, recruitment progress and delivery performance against the agreed growth plan.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in engineering, design management, project management or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. At least 12 years' experience in engineering consultancy or EPCM delivery within mining, resources, energy or industrial sectors.
At least four years' formal accountability for people leadership, design management or project delivery performance. Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary design or project delivery teams and coordinating work across multiple locations.
Experience establishing or materially scaling a delivery team, including recruitment, onboarding and capability development.
Strong understanding of project planning, resourcing, risk, quality, commercial performance and client service. Professional fluency in written and spoken English, with confidence working with Australian and international stakeholders.
