Job Description
AECOM's Enterprise Capabilities team is looking for a Project BIM Modeller to join our team in China.
About Enterprise Capabilities
Fundamental to our Think and Act Globally strategy and digital adoption, Enterprise Capabilities (EC) is AECOM’s primary vehicle for workshare. Operating across geographic boundaries and time-zones, EC partners with regional and Global Business Line project teams to provide technical expertise, accelerate delivery and keep AECOM competitive in the industry.
With a team of over 3000 technical professionals located across nine countries and remote technical anchors, EC teams are trusted to deliver high-quality, specialist services that help to fill capability gaps, resourcing needs and technical constraints on projects of all scopes and sizes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Independently complete project drawings and BIM modelling, including required model/drawing outputs.
- Conduct self-checks on drawings/models to ensure clarity, aesthetics, and no errors or omissions.
- Follow and apply drafting/modelling specifications and standards to meet project and company requirements.
- Apply knowledge gained from Quality Committee training and participate in related training sessions and knowledge sharing.
- Support day-to-day coordination for general projects (e.g., task follow-up, internal communication, information alignment).
- Comply with document control, filing, and version management requirements to ensure completeness and traceability.
- Provide onboarding/training support to new team members (software, standards, quality expectations, and delivery workflow).
Qualifications
- Diploma or above in Civil Engineering, Bridge Engineering, or related disciplines.
- 5+ years of relevant experience (can be adjusted to 5+ if required by the role level).
- Strong knowledge of drafting/modelling standards; able to independently resolve issues arising in projects with solid professional capability.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of BIM workflows and common BIM tools, with modelling and coordination mindset.
- Strong sense of responsibility, with excellent organization, communication, and teamwork skills.
