Job Description

We are currently recruiting a CAD Modeler for Linear Infrastructures designs of a wide variety of projects, including, but not limited to, roadways, railways, gradings, civil works, etc., to join our busy and expanding experienced team. The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of projects. Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering civil engineering design for many years, throughout the USA and Australia, not to mention Canada or Middle East. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team It can be a great opportunity for a CAD Modeler that wants to boost his/her professional career on Civil Infrastructure drafting on an international environment, with a great opportunity to learn new Digital software platforms. 

 

The responsibilities of this role include: 

 

  • Analyzes and adheres to the project CAD standards or set CAD procedures if not provided.
  • Prepares finished design drawings from sketches, notes and layout details in CAD 2D and 3D.
  • Performs QAQC of CAD work developed by others.
  • Works in a team-based environment that involves coordination with colleagues based in different offices.
  • Performs the responsibilities under limited supervision.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and personal resilience to working to strict timelines/different styles of leadership.

 

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • +4 year experience working as CAD Technician on Civil Infrastructure projects.
  • Experience leading or managing CAD Technician teams.
  • Expert in the use of CAD software (AutoCAD and/or MicroStation).
  • Communicative level of English (oral and written).
  • Experienced using common data environments Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM360) and Bentley ProjectWise.
  • Working experience in modelling or/and drafting tools using Autodesk Civil 3D or Bentley OpenRoads Designer will be considered favourable.
  • Experience working for Transport Authority clients in the USA, Canada and Australia will be considered favourable.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certificated in a drafting technology Institute Technical or similar Professional Education.
