This position may be based in Denver, Chicago, Houston, San Francisco, San Diego, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Seattle, Columbus, or Cleveland, with flexibility for other AECOM locations.

What You’ll Do
Secure Interior Design & Planning

- Develop detailed interior design deliverables—including space plans, elevations, details, and specifications—that balance security, functionality, and design quality
- Participate in and contribute to secure design reviews and client meetings
Technical Coordination & Integration
- Collaborate with Accrediting Officials and project teams in support of Construction Surveillance Plans (CSPs)
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and specialty consultants to integrate access control, intrusion detection, acoustical protection, and RF shielding
- Support technical planning related to acoustical separation, TEMPEST considerations, and secure zoning
Collaboration & Design Leadership
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate secure planning principles across architecture, interiors, engineering, and technology systems
- Engage Federal clients and stakeholders to understand mission needs and translate them into compliant interior solutions
- Contribute thought leadership that advances secure interior design standards across the firm
What Sets You Apart
- Strong understanding of secure facility users, missions, and interior building typologies
- Excellence in programming, space planning, and stakeholder communication
- Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary systems, utilities, and FF&E in classified environments
- Working knowledge of secure networks, access control concepts, and security zoning
- Solid familiarity with ICD‑705 and TEMPEST fundamentals and their impact on interior planning
